Victor Galuchot is no longer travelling to the other side of the world on skis! With Les étoiles de la Terre, the skier unveils a beautiful film produced by himself, just down the road from home. In a half-hearted mea culpa, Galuchot acknowledges that skiers are ‘cutting off the branch we're sitting on’ and returns to more modest, but no less ambitious, skiing.

Pascal Arpin, a high mountain guide born in Séez, has been climbing mountains since he was very young. At the age of 25, he was lucky enough to take part in an expedition to a major Himalayan peak, which inspired him to travel and discover other mountain ranges and cultures. Photography was an obvious way of showing the beauty and fragility of the places he comes into contact with every day in his job.
A selection of his finest photographs will be on display at Panorama from Monday 04 August to Sunday 07 September 2025, free of charge and open to the public during opening hours.
The artworks are for sale, so don't hesitate to ask the Panorama team!
